Responsibilities under Desired Job
Transmission Network Planning:
Design and plan transmission networks to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct system studies such as load flow, short circuit analysis, stability, and contingency analysis for transmission network expansion.
Project Management:
Oversee the execution of transmission projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
Collaborate with teams across engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure successful project delivery.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure that transmission system planning and development activities comply with local and international regulatory standards.
Prepare and submit reports on transmission system performance, planning studies, and grid expansion proposals.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other external agencies to obtain approvals for transmission projects.
Coordinate with power generation and distribution teams for system integration and expansion.
Risk Management & Optimization:
Identify potential risks in the transmission network and implement measures to mitigate those risks.
Continually optimize the performance of the transmission network through innovative planning and technology adoption.
Team Leadership:
Supervise a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on best practices in transmission and planning.
Ensure team members have the necessary resources and training to meet project goals.
