Responsibilities under Desired Job
Business Development and Strategy:
Develop and implement commercial strategies to grow the business and increase profitability.
Identify new business opportunities, including markets, partnerships, and client relationships.
Collaborate with the sales team to establish pricing strategies and negotiate contracts.
Contract Management:
Oversee the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts with vendors, clients, and partners.
Ensure that all contractual agreements are aligned with the company’s business goals and legal requirements.
Monitor contract performance and ensure that all terms and conditions are met by both parties.
Financial Analysis and Budgeting:
Analyze financial reports and business data to evaluate the profitability of commercial activities.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making in commercial projects.
Monitor revenue streams and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Act as the main point of contact for commercial negotiations, resolving issues as they arise.
Communicate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and procurement, to ensure alignment on commercial goals.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial activities, including contractual, financial, and operational risks.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all commercial operations.
Review and implement policies to minimize exposure to potential liabilities.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving the company’s commercial standing in the market.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on commercial performance, including revenue forecasts, contract status, and profitability analysis.
Maintain detailed records of all commercial transactions, contracts, and agreements for auditing and compliance purposes.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of commercial officers or managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of business goals.
Ensure the team has the resources and skills required to manage commercial operations effectively.
