Job Description :

The role of a Junior Engineer Electrical at PEPCO (Pakistan Electric Power Company) involves supporting the engineering team in managing and maintaining electrical systems and infrastructure related to power generation, transmission, and distribution. Responsibilities under Desired Job

 

Engineering Support:

Assist senior electrical engineers in designing, analyzing, and maintaining electrical systems and infrastructure.

Support the development and implementation of engineering solutions for power generation and distribution projects.

Technical Analysis:

Conduct technical analysis of electrical systems to ensure they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, feasibility studies, and project plans.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, generators, and circuit breakers.

Participate in the inspection and repair of electrical infrastructure to address faults and issues.

Project Execution:

Contribute to the planning and execution of electrical engineering projects, including system upgrades and new installations.

Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Field Work:

Participate in site inspections and field assessments to gather data and evaluate the condition of electrical systems and equipment.

Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and components.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure that all electrical engineering activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and PEPCO’s policies.

Assist in enforcing safety protocols and conducting safety inspections on-site.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, including maintenance logs, project documentation, and technical reports.

Prepare and submit progress reports and technical documentation as required.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with other engineering teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

Incomplete or late applications won't be considered. Test dates will be notified to shortlisted candidates via oRea-Pakistan. A minimum of 50% marks in the test is required to qualify. The appointing authority may set a higher threshold if needed.
