Responsibilities under Desired Job

 

Field Surveys:

Conduct land surveys to determine accurate locations for the installation of power lines, substations, and other electrical infrastructure.

Use surveying equipment to measure distances, angles, elevations, and contours of the land.

Ensure the accuracy of data collected and apply it to engineering plans.

Topographic Mapping:

Prepare topographic maps and layouts of the land to assist engineers in planning projects.

Provide accurate elevation data, contours, and land features to ensure projects are designed according to the terrain.

Data Collection and Analysis:

Gather and record survey data, including measurements, field notes, and sketches.

Analyze the data to create survey reports that support the planning and execution of projects.

Identify any potential issues with land conditions that may impact construction.

Coordination with Engineering Teams:

Work closely with civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers to provide accurate data and layouts for project designs.

Assist in planning the placement of infrastructure such as power poles, transmission lines, and substations.

Site Monitoring:

Visit project sites to ensure that construction is aligned with the original survey data and project plans.

Perform as-built surveys to document the completed work and confirm that it meets design specifications.

Boundary and Property Surveys:

Conduct boundary surveys to define property lines and ensure that PEPCO’s infrastructure is placed within designated areas.

Verify legal descriptions of land areas and resolve any boundary disputes related to project development.

Prepare Survey Drawings:

Convert field data into survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD or GIS software.

Ensure that all drawings are up-to-date and properly labeled with measurements, angles, and other necessary information.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare detailed survey reports and submit them to the engineering team and management.

Maintain survey records, including field notes, sketches, and electronic data, for future reference and audits.

Compliance with Regulations:

Ensure all surveying activities comply with local zoning laws, safety regulations, and PEPCO’s internal policies.

Follow industry standards and guidelines for safety and accuracy in all survey-related tasks.

General Terms and Conditions

 

These contract positions offer competitive remuneration. Male, Female, and Transgender applicants from the listed provinces can apply. Candidates can apply for multiple positions by paying separate fees. Appointments will be made through oRea-Pakistan's Screening Test under the Recruitment Policy 2022. Age is calculated as of the application deadline, with a 5-year upper age limit relaxation per Service Rules. Government employees should apply through proper channels. Incomplete or late applications won't be considered. Test dates will be notified to shortlisted candidates via oRea-Pakistan. A minimum of 50% marks in the test is required to qualify. The appointing authority may set a higher threshold if needed.
